Albert Capaul et Jean Lefort sont deux peintres qui ont représenté le territoire du Val de Marne au début et au milieu du XXème siècle. A mon tour, suite à une commande du Musée Intercommunal de Nogent-sur-Marne, j’ai arpenté ce territoire pour y construire une représentation photographique décalée et humoristique de son patrimoine culturel et touristique. Les trois regards ont ensuite été mis en relation à travers une exposition collective.
Albert Capaul and Jean Lefort are two painters who represented the territory of the Val de Marne in the early and middle of the twentieth century. In my turn, following a commission from the Intercommunal Museum of Nogent-sur-Marne, I surveyed this territory to build an offbeat and humorous photographic representation of its cultural and tourist heritage. The three views were then put in relation through a collective exhibition.
